Formation
9th Raven Corps was created on the 7th August 2009. The 9th Raven corps was created by the combination of two formidable guilds, Sword of the Lord(SotL) and the 7th Eagles. This new guild was headed by the current Leader of SotL, Brightwind. This new powerhouse then took up its proper place as the Sub-Guild of the 13th wolf guards.
Also at this time the two feeder guilds of The Desciples and The Flock, were merged into one guild to be the training guild for 9th, This guild is known as 11th Viper Battalion.

The original declaration did not include 9th, though it did include KL and Ook, a few minutes after the declaration was made, Brightwind made the following announcement:-
The 9th Ravens will step up and honor its LPN pact commitments and is honored to stand along side its brethren in the LPN, We also look forward to fighting Aztec on the battlefield.

Following 9th decision to join the war, KL and Ook were withdrawn from the original declaration.
The war started on 08 Oct, 2009 03:21, with the following terms.
* Fight for 3 weeks, after this period the AzTEC will ask the involved guilds if they wish to continue fighting. If they
do we'll continue the war, and if they don't the engagement will end.
* No occ stealing.
* No trade plundering.
It had all the hallmarks of a blob war, and so it proved to be. The war ended rather uneventfully on Wed 29 Oct, 2009 at 0321.
9th/RL V CSR/RFA/SIR/LUE
This war took a while to get going.. Originally planned to start on 17th November 2009 at 23:59:59 against RFA, SIR, CSR, STARS, and -NGR-. The Alpha politics ran amok and eventually the War as listed was agreed.
* Occ under 30k fleet off limits, 300K for drekkons
* No mercing
* Only pillage internal guild trades
* War will be as long as everyone wants it to be with a check point at 14 days. Anyone wanting out in 14 days
only has to message the other side and request it and it will be honored.
* at close of war 1 fighter occ to be cleared by anyone, debris will belong to base owner
It started on 20-11-09 23:59:59. As is the norm Blobs were very much used and 9th made a very successful hit against of 60 million of inactives on their old blob. It was at that time the largest hit that 9th had made.
The war lasted until 4th Dec at midnight, when the hostilities ceased. Brightwind thanked everybody for a good clean fight and for the enjoyable war.
X.Org v 9th
On 19th Jan 2010, PaulMuadDib declared war on 9th, this was a friendly war which had been arranged between the two guilds. The declaration was light-hearted and novel. War was to start on 28th Jan at 00:00, with the following terms.
* Only internal trades * no OCC stealing * 1 fighter occ at end of war with debris belonging to base owner. * 2 week war with an extension clause on desire to continue from both sides.
The war was good natured and both sides had some good hits. It was though brought to an early end on on the 9th feb 2010 by mutual agreement of both guild
Diplomacy
When 9th was formed it became part of LPN. This remained the case until the following announcement was made by the then diplomat of 9th, Demonreaper.
The LPN has accepted the membership of the 11th Viper Battalion in an unanimous decision heralding the entrance into the LPN of the 4th member of the [13th] family marked by the tradition of its predecessors [13th], [7th], and [9th]. The 9th Raven Corps is proud to take a strategic step back from LPN membership in order to enable its able sub-guild to assume the tradition of partnership and support of growing mid-level guilds on alpha server.
We wish the LPN God Speed and prosperity in the New Year. Our commitment to our subguild [11th] goes without saying, but to affirm our ongoing commitment to our allies at [RL] we are pleased to announce a MDP between [9th] and [RL].
TL/DR [9th] support for LPN has not changed, the way we support the LPN has.
