Alpha here and now

Currently, Alpha has divided into two main server blocs. BORG and Mordor are top guilds in one power bloc, which includes constituent Mordor Family guilds as well as OO. The III power bloc consists of CoRM and III whose core members are EeY, AzTEC and R.I.P. The most recent server war was fought between these two power blocs along with a few nonaligned guilds. A draw and a ceasefire was declared and agreed upon by all parties.

After the Third Server War efforts were made to reconcile the E-hate between the two power blocs, but to no apparent avail. The formation of Exodus to pursue a war against Mordor has greatly increased tension in the server. The inability of either side to gain a victory has led to a stalemate of blobs. Though undeclared, Borg and OO have blobbed near Mordor in a show of support. These moves have ensured that Exodus cannot engage the Mordor blob.

While this war is expansive, it is not yet a server war. High ranked guilds including Min, 13th, NPO and others are currently unaligned though past alliances strongly suggest which bloc they will side with should it come to server war.

The Fourth Server War is now over. The result was primarily a stalemate, although at the beginning MORDOR was crushed and effectively destroyed as a major power.

An interesting note is Alpha is still growing despite its age, and has maintained more players than any other server over time.
