Forum Moderators

The Astro Empires forums are overseen by a collection of Moderators, given the task of keeping the mountains of spam under control. These moderators are given the task of enforcing the rules of the forums by handing out warnings and bans where needed and removing junk from the boards.

Global Moderators
Global moderators have moderating powers across all boards on the forums. They are also able to suspend and ban users which local moderators are not able to do. The majority of the moderation team was global at one point, however now they only make up a small portion of the team. Global moderators have to create a new account when they start moderating to protect their anonymity.
Local Moderators
Local moderators only have powers and authority to moderate on a set board(s) on the forums. When posting on other boards they are not doing so as a moderator. They do not have the power to suspend / ban users. Local moderators have to create a new account when they start moderating to protect their anonymity.
Language Moderators
Language moderators are similar to local moderators in that they only have the powers to moderate over a set board(s) and are unable to suspend / ban users. They however are allowed to use their original account to moderate the forums as they are only moderating a language board.
Retired Moderators
From time to time moderators retire. Below is a list of moderators whom are no more.
