The LUEnar Empire could be described as a diverse, organized, capable guild found in the corner of some Astro Empire's lost galactic corner. The guild's use of the Mario and Yoshi characters are symbolic of the groups primary principles: having fun, and bring some friends along for the ride. The group is known for its some-what liberal perceptions of just being silly, which may be the case; probably more or less a friendly jab at other guilds who run it like a business.
HoLUEcaust
In January 2009, LUE underwent a significant transformation, with over 30 players marked for immediate expulsion based on their stagnant account development and lack of contribution to the guild. 24 hours notice was given for the active players on the list to find new guilds, and the players remaining after the notice period expired were summarily kicked and declared fair game for attacks.
Opinion
Many saw LUE as the "2nd NPO", a big guild coming over from CN and then boast about their accomplisments there, without really backing it up in wars and such. However during wars and peace time, LUE has proven themselves much different then NPO, and the LUE-humor is widely regarded as stupid, silly but extremely amusing...
