Our Origins & Where Are We Now
Back in the days of old, before MI5 had even been thought of, there was and still is a guild called the Commonwealth. Possibly the largest operation ever performed by one guild was their move to a galaxy in the B50's. They had decided to gather all guild members in one place to make it easier to defend and look after all the guild. Some members kept some bases behind in other galaxies but the majority moved. Thus creating a stronghold for the guild to grow and to evolve. Their motto was one of peace and neutrality making them look weak to some members who wanted to pwn them. These AE members formed the guild OW and soon enough the Commonwealth was thrown into a bloody war with OurWealth. Shortly after the return of the Commonwealths more elite players it was decided that there should be a new guild created. This guild would be a place to hone the skills of The Commonwealth's higher levels. Should the unthinkable happen again, then there would be organisation and communictaion to cope with anything thrown at them. This initiative was taken by a ruthless Serbian named Strider, and with the support of leaders like Kel Do Rah & Thyriel, began forming a guild that was even kept a secret from the members of the Commonwealth and so MI5 was formed codenamed Spooks. This guild would act as a firm hand behind the scenes dispensing justice throughout the Astro Empires.
Eventually with all great ideas the guild of MI5 began to take on a life of its own and finally through an agreement with Strider and Thryiel it was said that MI5 would continue as they were. Leaving the Commonwealth to live a quiet life of peace in their newly found home in the B50's.
So this is where they find themselves now, through training, cooperation and communication under the direction of Strider and other elite members, they have clawed their way into the Top 30 Guilds Of AE and look intent on staying.

While it remains unclear and highly classified just what sort of operations have been carried out by MI5, there is one person who has dared write about such things. While never public acknowledging some of his works have been surpressed, Ƭγгσq has made subtle hints that such a very thing has indeed happened. MI5 & Mordor
Originally Kel Do Rah, Guild Leader of The Commonwealth, was good friends with [Corum], Leader of Mordor at the time. This friendship would then lead both guilds to risking their necks for one another over the next months. One memorable occasion for those involved would be when Mordor was at war with Goonion in the B49's. A number of MI5 members went to give them a hand.
