Status

Political Status

We're simple folks, and thus we have simple politics;

We treat you as you treat us, maybe a bit harsher ;)

Societal Status

We favor people over numbers, therefore we do not tolerate swearing on our boards and bad attitude towards 3rd party players. Since all members have almost equal privileges, every insane member is a valid correspondent and can act as a diplomat.

Background history

The Insanity was formed by a bunch of friends, that left 13th and joined S-W for a while. These friends were; Tapao, humugus, NaNaMan, Lady M, Kiruku, Katash, elroy, Yrtelian, Korey, Torax & Black Knight (If anyone feels left out, then we'll fill you in as soon as possible)

Shortly some more players came from 13th and during time the guild has gathered players from almost every guild and also newbies creating it's own personality. Among Insanity's ranks were players that created their own history in AE, such as elroy and NaNaMan, sadly both have left the game.

Present History

The guild's major task is simciting and beer drinking. Since insanity members mastered the art of "empty beer cans drop", an invention of Kiruku, that replaced the fighter drops in their attack strategy, they have to constantly drink beer to create the necessary can piles, and because of their fearsome can drop tactics nobody dares to challenge them in battle therefore they are simming.

Guild Policy regarding recruits

To be read & followed before applying to the guild

We are interested to recruit players, newbies and experienced players. We will not commit active recruitment so to anyone interested an invitation is not necessary, YOU have to apply. But before you apply please read the following :

Although we speak lot's of languages we use english language in our board. You will have to follow orders. We are a guild that respect personalities, you will be encouraged to express your opinion and you are going to get aid in your struggle to grow and defend your empire. It will make things faster if you PM us you general stats (as stated in your account page), and the galaxies where you have presence, we will ask you those info anyway.

You might not be accepted, so do not drop from your current guild before the interview concludes, there are many reasons to decline your application:

-An existing member has objections to your application.

-You are isolated in an far away galaxy.

-You have too many personal friendships/naps/etc, we suggest you to join your friend's guild in such occasion.

-You were a member of our guild once but you've asked to leave or you have quit our guild without notice.

-You are a flamer / spammer.


Even if we accept you, we might after a probation period ask you to leave in case:

-You are using swearing in our board

-You post on the aeforum: War/Politic/Recruiting rooms

-You do not follow guild's orders

-You are inactive

-You are an active simcitier

-The guild thinks that you aren't fit to it's style in general


If you're ever asked to leave we will let you find a new guild in a reasonable time before we kick you and we will not hunt you as an indie.

Trade Route Plundering Policy

Insanity have a very clear & strict policy regarding their trade routes.

If you wish to plunder one of Insanity's trade routes, you will need to request permission from the owner of the Trade route first and wait for that member to message you back with their answer. If your request is declined, then you will leave the trade route alone. If you however receive permission then you may proceed with plundering the particular route in question of said player. (Most everyone who asks, receives permission)

The only exception to needing permission, is when you're at war against insanes. We do not plunder 3rd party's routes, and expect to be treated the same way. Insanes will also of course only plunder trade routes which they're at war with, or after asked & given permission by the trade owner.

If you decide to plunder the trade route then realize you will be expected to pay the member of Insanity enough debris to pay them back for the lost route.

If you choose to ignore our policy, then insane member will simply choose a random profitable base/fleet of your guild and thus provide themselves to cover for the lost credits + taxes.

OBS: If the member in question that has taken one of insanity's trade routes is deemed as unnecessarily rude/impolite, then extra taxes will be charged on the matter.

Insanity's motto

Everyone shall love beer! He who doesn't love beer - doesn't love us, so we don't love him back!
